Acetyl L-Carnitine

Overview

Acetyl L-Carnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid derivative. The acetyl group readily crosses the blood-brain barrier and delivers L-carnitine across cell membranes (which it would not be able to pass on its own).

Mechanism

Acetyl L-carnitine promotes the burning of fat and by doing so supplies energy to all human cells, including our brain & nerve cells.

Benefits

  • Contributes to reduction of mental fatigue
  • Positive effect on attention and coginitive performance
